Issuing “rebuttals” for everything is just the way Lloyd Evans’ thinking process goes. He truly believes he’s the smartest guy in any given room and surrounds himself with people who agree. When he was on this forum, he’d wade into a discussion offering a breakdown of his thoughts. Even people who essentially agreed with his position were often told there wasn’t something they had a complete handle over and needed to do their own research to come over to his line of thinking. It’s always right or wrong with him, with his position always being the correct one.
I did my own mental rebuttals to convention material whilst I was still attending them. It’s not like we’re debating academic scholars on this; this is Jehovah’s Witnesses after all. If you need Lloyd’s take on a convention from a religion you left to feel validated, then you really need to do you own research. Lloyd’s 607 rebuttal is basically a reiteration of Carl Olaf Jonsson’s late 1970s treatise he submitted to the GB and later formed the basis of his book. Anyone reading Carl’s book is capable of doing a 607 rebuttal. Likewise most of Lloyd’s critiques of the GB are drawn from Raymond Franz’s and James Penton’s books and later Barbara Anderson’s insider info.
This is also why he’s branching out into rebutting the Mormons. There are a lot of publications out there that one can read to give them adequate info to debate a Mormon. I personally find little benefit in someone from a JW background debating a Mormon. I actually feel sympathy towards those missionaries in Croatia that there’s this disgusting slob of a person pretending he’s interested in their religion when he’s only seeking to add content he can make money off of.

Lloyd did quite well with green handshakes and I can’t even remember an overseas trip that wasn’t funded at least in part by the local JWs. I know of at least two such donors who would send him $100-$200 a month through PayPal and have now stopped.
Expect more videos with American Mormon missionaries in Croatia. His days of flying overseas with the tab picked up by the locals are over. The secret is out that he spent rather indulgently on himself with donations and that’s why he’s making threats toward people who expose him.

Lloyd is not fulfilling his Patreon goal promises. At 220 Patrons he pledges one documentary a year where he would travel to and film on location.
At 380 patrons he promised to expand his documentary work by traveling to more “diverse” locations, organising more meetups and doing a TED talk.
We’re almost into August and not only has none of this occurred, but he hasn’t even planned anything. It’s not hard to imagine why this hasn’t occurred and I don’t mean just the scandal. He has lost at least half his income and all this would come out of his pocket for at best minimal benefit to his channel and fortunes. The people who used to arrange all these trips and meetups for him he has alienated and he’d be going to locations abroad with virtually no support beyond Tibor (for whose travel costs he’d be responsible for) and his remaining stalwarts who would show and offer little assistance other than cheerleading him. Also the cost of paying Tibor for editing such a documentary would put him into a deficit when all is said and done.
It’s always just been a method for him to pocket the money, nothing else. These Patreon benchmarks are nothing more than marketing. So he’s a bit stuck right now with not enough Patrons to fund such endeavours which he desperately needs right now to inject some renewed vigour into his channel.

Lloyd's plan to increase his patreons is succeeding, he added at least 20 new ones this month, the strategy? Daily videos
I think the ratio between lost patrons and gained patrons is directly tied in to the level of douchbaggery Lloyd exhibits every month. His last rant was 5 June where he revealed the names on his litigation list and proceeded to threaten everyone who was commenting negatively about him. For that he lost 30 patrons at the end of the month.
His pride won’t allow him to drop the litigation especially after those boastful claims he made about verdicts being reached in absentia. He really believes that a “successful” verdict will bring back the 400+ patrons who left. Lloyd even dating back to his days on this forum was always looking for the “mic drop” or “gotcha” moment where he can point to everyone who doubted him that he was right. This time it’s no different.
What should we do? The same thing we always have been doing - let Lloyd fall into the traps he creates for himself and show his true colours and then call it out. He filed something with the Croatian court on 18 July. He also said he’d spend the next three years fighting the “defamation” through civil suits.
Let him. If a negative comment toward him on social media meant easy money then Meghan Markle would be one of the richest people on the planet. I wouldn’t get too bent out of shape over the 20 patrons gained. He lost 30 for the month and last time I checked that’s a net loss of 10. There’s no Remini show in his future and he fails the basic vetting standards media outlets use for credible sources. It’s also convention season which supplies him with a lot of source material but it will dry up shortly and he’s back to answering voicemails. He’s just a guy who makes YT videos again. His anger and insuppressible desire for revenge will continue to be his undoing.

I have a “podcast” in mind of Lloyd’s that Stephanie can analyse for “logical reasoning”. So much “logical reasoning” here. The tweets and FB posts of his are still up where he “logically reasons” that people in countries not named Croatia are subject to Croatian defamation laws for crime of “logically reasoning” that Lloyd Evans has more than a few screws loose and has no business counseling others whilst at the same time complaining he’s suicidal. Don’t believe me, read what this dingbat Katrina has to say below. €100 says Katrina was saying the same thing about the local elders as she now is about Lloyd in the not too distant past.
